London, ON – Jim Gruber, one of London region’s best known and most respected advertising professionals, has added his multi-faceted talents to the communications team at Marketing Strategies & Solutions.
Robert Adeland, President of Marketing Strategies & Solutions, announced recently that Gruber has joined the firm as Account Director and Senior Consultant.

A lifelong Londoner, Gruber entered the advertising industry immediately following his education as a graphic designer, and quickly gravitated into account management with top creative agencies including Design Associates and Omnibus Communications. For many years, Gruber filled account service and production management duties for both Canadian and U.S.-based clients with the MC Group of Companies, which led to his most recent posting as the lead Account Director for the London office of Ogilvy One Worldwide.
Gruber first earned his position in account management and strategic planning with leading national brands in building products and home improvement. In recent years, he expanded his experience in specialized marketing programs in the agriculture, healthcare and medical devices sectors. His client list includes many familiar household names such as Petro-Canada, Alcan, Pro Hardware and Johnson & Johnson. Jim has also contributed to the marketing success of local London operations ranging from Canada Trust and McCormick Foods to Sunshine Dreams for Kids.
